Default No More Chaser?

at the height of the upcoming new season of the show, G4 for some reason replaced The Chaser's War on Everything's time slot with Whacked Out Videos

Why the **** did they replace something that's funny with something that we can see on YouTube or to an higher degree... FAILblog?

"Not at all. We're big fans of the show, but the problem is that there just aren't enough episodes produced to air more. Our issue is that we run though the limited episodes so fast that we need to give them a rest in order to maximize the ratings for the time period in which they air." by Neal Tiles

The Chasers took an 18 month break, then produced only 8 new episodes. They air on Australia's ABC (no relation to the American ABC) where they can be replaced and only have to air once a week at most. G4 has to run episodes more often because they don't have enough programming to fill a 24 hour day with new content.

Bottom line: The show ain't canceled, but has to go on hiatus because there's not enough new episodes to air year-round, and G4 has run the existing episodes into the ground.
