A request (pick this show up!)

G4,

Why in the world have you not picked this show up? It's:
a.) about gamers,
b.) has millions of viewers in the United States & Canada (even more world wide),
c.) is a successful TV and webseries, and
d.) costs almost nothing to produce.

They recently broadcasted in Canada through Showcase and received positive user reviews and ratings. The great viewer feedback prompted ABC 2 (over in Australia) to pick it up (just after one season).

The TV show holds a solid 8.3/10 on IMDB. Even though the show is very new, it has been nominated for many awards. It even won a Gemini award for best direction in a comedy series.

The shows' authors and writers are definitely interested in entering new markets, such as in the US. They have mentioned in interviews that they would be interested in negotiations with other networks like G4.

So, let's get to the point of this post...
G4 needs original content and I believe that adding Pure Pwnage to the network's line-up would do wonders for the channel.

As a previously avid viewer of G4, I (as well as many others on the forums) can see G4 dwindling down to a bunch of syndicated shows playing hours of Cops, Cheaters, and other crappy programming. I have noticed that in the past couple of months I rarely watch G4. The reason? It just doesn't broadcast content that is interesting to me anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of AOTS, X-Play, and other original G4-content, but those shows are almost never on.

I want that to change. I want G4 to go back to its roots.

I sincerely recommend that whoever is in charge of the channel's line-up to really consider picking up Pure Pwnage. As mentioned before, it costs almost no money to produce (when compared to other shows) and its content is something that gamers, like me, find really interesting. Pure Pwnage has been referenced almost everywhere in popular gaming culture. They coined the term "Boom, Headshot!" which many gamers use.

It'd be an absolute shame for this channel to lose its identity with such a niche audience. Gaming is becoming more and more mainstream.

Come on G4, pick up the slack!

I agree to this fully. Pure Pwnage was amazing. The TV show, though very well done, wasn't as received as the web series, even if you guys bought the rights to air the web episodes, i'm positive you'd get great feedback. The show was INCREDIBLE and has a very intense following. I think refusing to host this show was a terrible oversight and a stupid move of your part G4, sorry to say. Please reconsider. The fans would all love to see this show aired again.

I'm an Australian and I watched Pure Pwnage on ABC's broadcast of it here and it was amazing!

Had great reception here and was broadcast after another gaming related show which created more viewers for both shows!

I was thinking this exact same thing. The show has had trouble getting a second season commissioned, and a U.S. airing could be just what it needs.

And I can't think of a better network to air it on than G4.
