I miss the Skits
I've been watching X-Play for a few years now. One of my favorite things that drew me to the show was he comedic skits that would be added to the game reviews. They were hilarious and really made the show unique.
Last year I returned from a tour in Iraq and kind of noticed something a little different from the show. It became more informative, but kind of lost much of that playfulness it use to have. I just saw the new episode with PAX and the new Beatles Rockband game. I enjoyed that little skit with the guys dressed as the Beatles. It wasn't much but it really brought back memories of the good ole days. X-Play is still a great show but something is really been missing without those skits. They would really help to balance out the interviews with the game developers, which tend to be a little dry or even boring sometimes. |

my guess would be they want to be a more serious venue for video game discussion and maybe saw that as a distraction from that but yea the skits were awesome back then
and i miss the splinter cell co-op theater (with special agent Bob and secret agent Steve) that was some funny stuff
