how was the first DLC "Knothole Island"?

Knothole Island never felt like an extention of the game, it felt like a tacked on area. This one seems more like a continuation of the game (which I might add is what made Fable 1 paticularly good, it's post game additions, ie. Lost Chapters) A few DLC like this could be just what the game needs (come on Lionhead, I want a final boss fight with Lucien!)

...I never finished it. And reading this thread makes me wanna go finish Fable 2 (and I downloaded Knothole Island, obviously haven't played it). I just don't want this game to ever be over. It's so much fun. But I guess for the ending achievements I'll have to clear through two more times. :sigh:

I got all the ending achievements in one playthrough. Make a save right as you finish killing the last guy. Then select each one of the rewards and get the achievement. Then reload your last save and choose another one.
Just make sure you choose the actual reward you want last and it works great.

Just avoid the auto save, watch the ending you choose but when the credits roll, use the xbox button and go stright to the dashboard. Go back into the game, choose another ending, simple as that.

Actually you can reload the save ingame right after you get the achievement and you will be fine.
Unless they have patched it by now. When I did it on my account it was about 2 weeks after the game came out.

Yeah, but they might actually want to watch each ending (though it's a little underwhelming before the credits, you just hear the other hero's opinions and Theresa talks to you about your choice).

I never thought of that because I didn't care about it :D

Is this DLC gonna fix the pointless combat system? The linear, boring world? The disgusting responsiveness of the buttons when selecting objects? The really, really bad camera control? The fact that NPCs can trap you unless you kill them? The thousands of glitches including those that still cause game-ended errors to this day despite all the complaints?...
Haha sorry, I'm still mad over how terrible Fable 2 is.

Yes, yes it will. It will also cure cancer, hunger, and save the whales, all at once. It is that great.

Crappiest DLC ever, there's maybe about 20 mins of extra gameplay, and none of the bugs were fixed at all. I was waiting for the DLC before I beat the game on my second character, thinking some bugs would be fixed, but no, as soon as I beat it, I got the wife dissapearing bug. From what all Molyneux was saying about "see the future" I was expecting something better, more that just *SPOILERS*
1 weapon I'll never use, and 2 usable outfits, there are 3 others, but they're to ill-designed to mention.
I'm guessing the big "prize" at the end of the DLC was to get to play in the colosseum, but the crucible was more challanging.
I did notice that my dog got stuck in the water or between trees less often, so maybe they half assed fixed a few bugs. It still gets stuck, just not as much. Speaking of getting stuck, I'm about to turn evil, cause all my fans keep trapping me inside buildings.
I love Fable 2, but it would be better if Lionhead wasn't so lazy, hell, that accessories option under augments is still there, what kind of professional game company keeps canceled things in thier game, and releases thier game with this many bugs?

Hehe, and another DLC is on the way...
If the glitches still bug you keep complaining, but do it where Lionhead can see it, thier forums (that's where I do it). I've played through twice and both times had the Lady Grey quest screw over my game.
