Todays show was about Salvia and Larking.

I'm in the larp they showed, Alliance. I really liked how they portrayed us. All too often a show will want to film us, then basically mock us for their segment or make us look bad in general. G4 did a fantastic job of making the combat look epic. Some of the shots of my friends were badass incarnate and to self-aggrandize I didn't look so bad myself. I was the skullfaced guy the shot cut to when Tom mentions dastardly villains.

It'd be great if G4 wanted to come back and do a longer segment. Or even participate. Or even have Morgan Webb participate. That, I believe, people would watch.

Montrose, PA is northern PA, just south of the NY border.

Don't forget about all the other Alliance chapters across the country. There's one in New Jersey, too.

I currently play Nero, the larp that Alliance broke away from several years ago. If there isn't an Alliance chapter near you, give them a try. But to be honest, Alliance is better run and has a superior ruleset.

Then again, it's the people that make a larp, not the mechanics of the game. And I've had plenty of great years playing Nero. There's just too many good fights and crazy experiences to recall.
